Our Jordan Tour offers a concentration of pleasures for people who would like to explore the Middle East culture and amazing history. A land of the desert and of Nabatean civilization, this tour offers an adventure from Amman to the magnificent desert ruins of Petra, the famed “Rose-Red City”. Of course, this trip would not be complete without swimming in the Dead Sea and a night in the desert to contemplate the stars.
Day 1: Amman
Arrival at Queen Alia airport. Welcome and reception by a member of our team, transfer to Amman. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Amman.
Day 2: Amman- Umm Qais –Ajloun-Jerash
Morning pick up from Amman, drive north far approximately 100 KM from Amman to visit Umm Qais, in the hills above the Jordan Valley, where the ruins of the Decapolis city of Gadara built mainly out of black basalt, and enjoy the impressive view over Lake Tiberias and the Golan Heights. Drive down to Rabad Castle (Ajloun Castle). Built in the 12th century CE during the Saladin era, this hilltop fortress overlooks a large part of the Jordan Valley. Continue to Jerash (Gerasa); nicknamed the "Pompeii of the Near East", it is considered one of the Roman Decapolis and one of the best-preserved cities of the ten, and visit its theatres, temples of Zeus, churches, colonnaded streets of its Cardo, the temples of Dionysus and Artemis. Back to Amman. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Amman.
Day 3: Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Petra
Start the visit with Amman city; the capital of Jordan, a fascinating city of contrasts, a unique blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. The visit will include the fascinating Roman Theatre and Nymphaeum that reflect the historic legacy of the city, and the enchanting Citadel, which has stood since the ancient times of the Ammonites. Depart to Madaba, the 'City of Mosaics’, which has the most famous mosaic map of the Holy Land as it was in 6th century CE Byzantine Palestine. Visit Mount Nebo, where Moses was given a view of the holy land, where he died and was buried. The memorial of Moses offers spectacular views of the Jordan Valley. Travel to Petra, via the king's road, ancient Silk Road and arrive in the evening with the sunset over the mountains of Petra. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Petra.
Day 4: Petra and Wadi Rum
Petra – one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites and today’s one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The 2,000-year old ancient city of Petra. Known as the red rock city, Petra was the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BCE to the 2nd century CE. Carved by the Nabateans out of solid rock, Petra was forgotten for hundreds of years until it was rediscovered by a Western explorer in 1812. At the entrance to Petra travelers are offered the option to ride a horse for 800m – from the visitor’s center to the entrance of the dramatic Siq (canyon). From the entrance to the Siq there is a 1,250-meter walk to the 1st monument, The Treasury. Throughout most of the day we will explore Petra’s in the afternoon, then depart to Wadi Rum. Dinner and overnight at camp in Wadi Rum.
Day 5: Wadi Rum – Aqaba
Enjoy the desert sunrise and breakfast before a tour for two to three hours in off-road vehicles, exploring the desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Discover the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, the Lawrence Well and Khazali siq. Transfer to Aqaba, with free time to spend relaxing as you choose; visiting one of the Red Sea beach resorts to swim or exploring the markets of the downtown. Aqaba offers several snorkeling and diving excursions to explore coral reefs and colorful sea life, or hop aboard a glass-bottom boat to view into the deep sea. Diner and overnight in Aqaba.
Day 6: Aqaba – Dead Sea
Drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth 400m below sea level, will have the opportunity to enjoy the indescribable feeling of floating on the Dead Sea with healthy Salt and mud. Dinner and overnight in Dead Sea.
Day 7: Dead Sea – Amman
Transfer to Amman airport for departure.

Unless otherwise noted, our packages concern only land arrangement: hotels, transfers, and visits. 3- Arrival at the Airport: you will be greeted by one of our staff holding a Travel Jerusalem sign waiting for you before customs and passport procedures, help you to get your free visa. , after you have collected your luggage. You will be then transferred to your hotel. 4- Standard Cancellation Fees If you choose or are obliged to cancel your trip before it begins (as determined by your arrival date on your program itinerary), you must inform us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees will apply as follows:

The above conditions do not apply in case of natural disaster, pandemic, and the outbreak of war. For geopolitical or logistical reasons, the tour operator has the right to cancel a departure or propose alternative date. In this case, full amount paid to the trip organizer will be refunded If a specific day tour is canceled due to security reasons or natural disaster, it is replaced with an alternate tour for the day, and no refund would be offered. 5- Visa & Passport Passport: To receive an on-arrival visa, your passport must be valid up to 6 months after your return date. For tourist visas, many nationalities are eligible to get a visa for Jordan upon arrival at their point of entry to the country. We will advise you and your fellow tour program participants as we finalize your itinerary, we organize for our clients a free entry visa to Jordan. 6- Transport and transfer as well as additional transport and transfer services. These services will be offered by van or bus, depending on the number of participants, and offered through a vetted and trusted third party transport provider. On arrival, for logistical reasons, the whole group pick up and transfer together; the transfer time will be fixed and will be arranged with you before arrival. On arrival at the airport, it is possible to wait sometimes for others participant. Preferable arrival flight time during the day, between 12:00 (noon) and 18:00. Beware of late arrival or early morning hours. This will lead to an additional transfer; the supplement will be providing and will depend on the number of participants. * On departure, the whole group will transfer together for the first flight. Note: on arrival; transfer time arranged and will inform you about exact time before your trip; the times will be fixed according to the schedules of most travelers. It is important to update us of your final flight times and details. If your flight schedules are different from the organized transfer, and you do not wish to wait, you can ask and book a private transfer: contact us for prices. 7- Accommodation The accommodations offer for each tour always respect the categories indicated (as per local standards); categories are a double, twin, triple, family room, or in a single room with single supplement. For a private or group request, you could ask another category of hotel; a higher or lower level than that provided in the standard tour program. Prices will be altered accordingly. In high season periods, availability in hotels may be limited regarding to high demand. For reasons of unavailability, a chosen hotel may be changed by another. We guarantee the same hotel category provided in the reserved tour or a higher category. If a modification is essential and cannot be made in same category, the customer will be notified and a refund for the difference if the booking will be for a lower hotel rating, or pay the difference if the booking will be in a higher hotel rating. In such cases, the customer can refuse to travel and request a refund of land services. Hotels check in 14:00, check out at 11:00. Breakfast is usually 6.30am til 9.00am and dinner is about 6.30pm til 9.00pm For our Jordan extensions, program participants will spend the night in Wadi Rum at a camps Food: On half-board programs, breakfasts and dinners are included, from the first day (on-arrival) dinner to the last day (departure) breakfast. Served buffet style with many local specialties. Please note that dinner at the hotel is served until 9 p.m. any late arrival after 9pm no refund for dinner. Open lunches in a restaurant or fast food/takeaway will mean the meal is at your own expense. Budget between $5 USD to $20 USD per day, depending on your usual preference for the size and type of lunch. 8- Child conditions Babies under 2 years of age travel free of charge, sharing their parents' room without an extra bed. Children from 2 to 6 years old pay 50% of the adult price, sharing their parents' room with an extra bed. Children from 6 to 12 years old pay 70% of the adult rate, sharing parents' room with an extra bed. 9- Flight and insurance Travel Jerusalem is a reception-only tour operator. We do not organize flight bookings. The customer is responsible to book the appropriate flights, and bear in mind that our prices include only land services of their trip. For accident, health, luggage or repatriation insurance; the customer should locate and pro the insurance in his /her country. 10- Tours – Guide – Tips Our tours and visits: The tour operator may modify your itinerary where reasonably required at their discretion; for example, a tour may be done in reverse to adjust to sudden, unforeseen circumstances. For reasons of weather or other factors, a tour may be modified or even replaced to a large extent. Please be aware that certain sites can sometimes be cancelled at the last moment. Indeed, some sites are managed by military authorities, free to block access to the sites. In such circumstances we will ensure that your value for cost of the program will be honored. Follow the guide: Our local guides are professionals and knowledgeable of the culture and history of the land that you are touring. Generally, a single guide accompanies the group for the duration of the tour. However, for logistical reasons, unavailability and due to the local situation, two or three guides may be used during your program. Our local guides are chosen for their knowledge base, professionalism, ethical standards and willingness to communicate with their tour groups and are always ready to answer questions! Tips: We recommend a tip of $6 -10 per participant per day, to be shared between the guide 60% and the driver 40%. Tips are not included in your program costing, and while not compulsory, we do ask that you strongly consider setting aside the suggested amount 11- Languages - Currency Currency: Jordan Dinar (JOD). There are automated teller machine throughout the country, and credit cards are accepted in many places. Languages: is Arabic. The unofficial second language is English 12- Level – Health Level: Our cultural and religious tours; including transfers by bus, walks and cultural visits are considered to require basic health and stamina. Health and vaccines: No vaccines are required at present 13- Weather Summer is long (from April to October), hot (25° to 35°) and with no rain or overcast skies. Winter (from November to March) is moderate (5° to 18°), but it can be cold, especially at nights. Protection from the sun is important. Remember to cover yourself with long, light, loose-fitting clothing, and to wear a hat. Use pharmacy-purchased sunscreen to protect your body, especially if you wish to swim in the Dead Sea. 14- Time - Customs Time: Jerusalem is GMT +2/+3, depending on time zone changes per year. Customs: An attitude respectful of local customs is required. In particular, during visits to religious attractions, proper clothing is required. Avoid high-cut clothing and short shorts 15- Telecommunications Israel and Palestine have modern and functional mobile phone networks. Similarly, accessibility to the Internet is available almost everywhere, notably via WIFI in hotels. 16- Electricity The electric current is generally 220V, utilizing European-regional sockets (round plugs). An adapter is required for UK-regional appliances.
